Our Women: Melissa Vranjes' Daily Rituals
In our fast-paced world of modern multitasking, women often find themselves wearing multiple hats. While this juggling act can be challenging, our daily rituals can help to ground us and set us up for success.

Meet Melissa, a Certified Holistic Sex Coach, educator and mother. Melissa is dedicated to empowering women, helping them embrace their sexuality, cultivate fulfilling relationships, and foster self-love and confidence. Let's delve into her daily rituals and cherished self care practices.

Morning Ritual: Moment for me

What's the first thing you do in the morning to set a positive tone for the day?

Without fail I pour myself a cup of tea and jump back into bed - this brings me pleasure and sets the tone for a day filled with moments of pleasure. And then, depending on where I am in my cycle I will move my body. This could be a run, reformer pilates, dance to some juicy beats or a walk outside. Movement is my religion!

Daily Inspiration: Movement

Could you share a daily practice or routine that keeps you inspired and motivated/feeling good?

As I mentioned before, movement is everything to me and it’s what keeps me feeling alive, confident and embodied. My favourite practice would be pressing shuffle on one of my embodiment playlists (I’ve got a few for different moods), and then letting my body move me. This could be me on all fours unravelling my spine, standing up and getting into my pelvic bowl with some hip circles or sticking out my tongue with some breathwork and releasing unwanted feelings/emotions.

Evening Ritual: Self Massage

How do you unwind and practice self-care in the evening after a busy day?

A slow uninterrupted hot shower followed by a body oiling session. Slow touch, beautiful smells and dimmed lighting - this unfurls my nervous system of stressy energy and anchors me back into my body.

Favourite Product: Words of Courage

Is there a specific product of ours that you love?

Words of courage! This scent has an earthy spicy woody aroma and it is perfect for my evening wind-down body oil sessions.

Words to live by: Rest

What's a piece of advice or words of wisdom that you might like to share in relation to self care or finding time for yourself?

Rest is productive and the more you prioritise yourself, the more you can be for others. As our society gets quicker and quicker, it's important to find pockets of time for slowness and solitude.
