Our women: Danielle Harper's Daily Rituals

Our women: Danielle Harper's Daily Rituals
In our fast-paced world of modern multitasking, women often find themselves wearing multiple hats. While this juggling act can be challenging, our daily rituals can help to ground us and set us up for success.

Meet Danielle, a devoted yogi originally from Los Angeles with a deep passion for health and wellness. Since a young pre-teen, Danielle's life has centred around movement for health, which led to her discovery of yoga's transformative power.

Danielle founded Alma, a multi-disciplinary studio in Hawkes Bay which is one of our beautiful stockists. Let's delve into her daily rituals that embrace movement.

Morning Ritual: Puppy love

What's the first thing you do in the morning to set a positive tone for the day?

Get my face completely covered in dog slobber as my dog gives me kisses all over my face!

Daily Inspiration: Daily yoga

Could you share a daily practice or routine that keeps you inspired and motivated?

I engage in some form of yoga practice every single day, it continues to astound me how this practice can give so much if you commit to it on a daily level - and after 20 years I am still trying to find the bottom of this deep rabbit hole!

Evening Ritual: Washing away the day

How do you unwind and practice self care in the evening after a busy day?

My skincare routine is a clear ritualistic separation from the day of work and interacting with others into the evening of focusing on personal and family time. I not only wash away the makeup and grime that has accumulated during the day but also any invasive thoughts that need to be left for tomorrow.

Favourite Product: Moments of Kindness

What's your favourite Embodyme Nurturing Body Oil?

I am 100% obsessed with Kindness, the scent speaks to my heart and definitely allows me to spend a few moments thinking about how I can be kinder to myself as I apply the oil. It's an amazing experience!

Words of Wisdom: Health is wealth

What's a piece of advice or words of wisdom that you might like to share in relation to self care or finding time for yourself?

Health is wealth - your health is the only real wealth that you have, invest in it wisely, prioritise it above all else, and the fruits of that investment will pay huge happiness dividends over the course of your lifetime.
