Our People: Olga Newman
In our busy lives, where women juggle many roles, daily rituals help keep us grounded and refreshed. Learning from others is just as important— embracing their wisdom can lead to growth and positive change. By incorporating these lessons into our routines, we can live a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Morning Ritual:
The first thing I do every morning is hug and kiss my loved ones. It’s my way of filling the day with warmth, love, and connection - no matter what lies ahead. Then, I take a moment to tune in with my body, listening to what it needs that day. Some mornings, I start with a gentle abdominal massage, other days I focus on my lower back or neck. It’s my way of staying present and showing up for myself from the very first moments of the day.
Daily Inspiration:
No matter how busy life gets, I make a conscious effort to pause - even if just for a few deep breaths. Breath is such a powerful tool - it instantly brings me back into my body and helps me self-regulate. If I have the space, I love taking a few mindful moments to reset during the day. It’s a simple practice, but it reminds me to choose myself, even in the smallest ways.
Evening Ritual:
At the end of the day, we always share our highlights as a family - me, my husband, and the kids. No matter how the day went, even if it was cloudy or challenging, there’s always a ray of sunshine to be found. This simple ritual shifts our focus to gratitude and reminds us of the beauty in every moment.
Favourite Product:
I love all oils, so choosing a favorite is tricky! I always tune into how I feel and let my body guide me. My go-to Discovery Set - I pick the oil that resonates with me at the moment. If I need peace, I reach for Embodyme Peace, allowing my rituals to support me in the most intuitive way.
Words of Wisdom/Words to live by:
Your body always knows. Listen to it, honor it, and it will guide you. And most importantly - show up for yourself every day. Whether it’s just 2 minutes use to connect. No excuse.
